As the technology in vehicles advances, repairing them to their original manufacturer condition becomes increasingly more demanding. Knowledge is power after all so we make sure that our team has access to ongoing training and courses throughout the year, to develop skills, build expertise and stay at the forefront of our sector.
As approved repairers for many premium brands, our technicians attend regular manufacturer courses to attain the required levels to meet their standards. This forms a vital part of our auditing process and is critical for issuing customers with our guarantee certificates. These manufacturer-specific courses range from new model awareness, annual renewal, or refresher skills-based courses, to more specialised programs such as Mercedes-Benz Aluminium Welding. This is evidenced by being only one of three approved body shops for Mercedes-Benz full structural aluminium repairs in the UK.

Over the past ten years, there has also been a rapid growth in electric and hybrid vehicle deployment. This trend shows no signs of abating, as the world’s largest manufacturers are set to release even more new EV models to meet the demand and reduce carbon dioxide emissions. Castle have been quick to respond, ensuring our expert technicians are qualified to be able to deliver repairs for this sector.
Training is not limited to the body shop. Our team of Vehicle Damage Assessors are recertified annually, keeping them up to date with the latest versions of our Audaenterprise Gold (Global Claims Centre) estimating system, helping us to assess and process repairs more accurately and efficiently for our customers.

Vehicle Paint Sprayer/ Prepper
📍 Manufacturer Approved Repair Centre | Northampton
Castle Coachworks are looking for a Vehicle Paint sprayer/ prepper to join our leading accident repair centre and bodyshop in Northampton.
The role
As an experienced and driven paint technician, in this role you will be comfortable with performing the following duties:
- Preparing and spraying bodywork
- Spraying to manufacturer specifications and maintaining our perfect finish
- Maintaining spray equipment and paint shop
- Keeping a tidy paint shop and paint storage area
- Understanding of correct paint storage
- Inventory of paints and equipment
You will preferably have come from a similar accident repair or bodyshop background and will have a full clean UK driving license.
You will need to be self-motivated, organised, have good communication skills, and excellent attention to detail. You will be committed to delivering outstanding customer service and upholding quality craftmanship, ensuring repairs are carried out correctly the first time.

Parts Advisor
📍 Manufacturer Approved Repair Centre | Northampton
Castle Coachworks Northampton is looking to hire a motivated and organised Parts Advisor to join our busy, manufacturer-approved repair centre in Northampton. This is a key role within our operation, helping to ensure the workshop runs efficiently and repairs are completed on time to the highest standards.
The Role
As Parts Advisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth ordering and management of parts, working closely with technicians and suppliers to keep the workshop moving on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Ordering, receiving and managing vehicle parts accurately and efficiently
- Liaising with manufacturers, suppliers and the workshop team
- Monitoring stock levels and ensuring parts availability
- Supporting the workshop to meet repair timescales and quality standards
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
Key Strengths & Skills
- Excellent organisation and timekeeping skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Proactive and reliable approach to work
- Previous experience in the automotive or accident repair industry is preferred
